We stopped in for a quick coffee break and ended up staying longer thanks to their incredible menu. The champurrado was absolutely excellent – thick, chocolatey, and spiced just right, like a hug in a cup on a chilly day. Our server chatted with us and convinced us to try the pozole, and wow, am I glad we did! It was hearty, flavorful, with tender hominy and perfectly seasoned broth that had us savoring every spoonful. As a nice surprise, the chef sent over a complimentary tamale, which was moist, savory, and packed with authentic taste – such a generous touch that made the visit even more special. We didn't get to the flan this time, but from what I've heard and seen in the display case (they offer innovative varieties like mazapán and pistachio), it's a must-try next.
